Here's a simple overview how our terms work
What you pay for
You pay Dr Kat Fertility for a bundled package. We provide consultations, scans, blood tests and coordination. Our HFEA‑licensed clinic partners perform regulated procedures, e.g. IVF/ICSI and gamete freezing/storage; accredited labs do blood and other diagnostic tests.
Clear prices
Your personalised plan shows the total price and what’s included. If a known third‑party cost changes before you pay, we’ll update and discuss it with you. No changes after payment unless you agree.
Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel before the treatment starts in earnest - for example because you have conceived spontaneously - we refund what you haven’t had yet, minus reasonable costs already incurred (e.g., completed appointments, clinical guidance, tests, medicines, non‑recoverable third‑party fees, e.g. lab or clinic).
- Consultations: cancel/reschedule 48+ hours before to avoid a fee.
- Tests done and medicines dispensed: not refundable.
- Treatment packages: refunds are calculated per component not delivered, excluding non‑recoverable third‑party fees.
Outcomes and expectations
Fertility outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Lack of egg collection, lack of fertilisation/embryo development, no pregnancy or no birth are clinical risks of treatment and are not “service failures.” These outcomes do not trigger refunds.
We commit to providing care with reasonable skill and care, clear communication, and support throughout.
If a service isn’t delivered
If an included service (e.g., a booked procedure or test) cannot be delivered as planned, we’ll seek re‑performance or a suitable substitute.
If that isn’t possible within a reasonable time, we’ll refund/adjust the price for that undelivered component—this relates to service delivery, not clinical outcomes.
Consents and storage
HFEA consents must be completed before treatment. Storage may require periodic re‑consent.
Medicines and samples
Dispensed medicines can’t be returned/refunded (statutory rights unaffected).
Labs set sample and transport rules—we’ll give clear instructions.
